Hunger Action Month is back!

This September, FARSB is ready to take action with the rest of the Feeding America network of food banks to raise awareness of hunger in the IE and around the country. In America, over 47 million people are dealing with food insecurity, and that number has been steadily rising in the last few years, with a global pandemic, inflation, and rising costs of living.

Locally, about 530,000 people in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties struggle to get three meals a day, and we are working to change that. This September, FARSB invites our community to take collective action to create lasting change for our neighbors in need.

Whether that is starting a food drive, volunteering at a food bank or pantry, or making a monetary donation, every action you take creates lasting change. We can end hunger when we all work together!

Take Action!

If you'd like to get involved this Hunger Action Month, here are a few ways that you can Take Action with FARSB:

  • Give Food - Donate food items that will be used for distributions at FARSB and our community partner network of pantries.

  • Give Funds - Make a monetary donation to a hunger-relief organization like FARSB to ensure that they're programs can continue the vital work in their communities.

  • Give Time - Volunteer your time at our food bank warehouse and help sort through donated products.
