Volunteers play a crucial work in our efforts to alleviate hunger in the Inland Empire! Come join us for just a few hours  and together, let's feed the IE!

In response to the evolving COVID-19 pandemic and our need to keep staff, partners, and community members safe, we have limited the number of on-site warehouse volunteers for each volunteer shift. Other volunteer opportunities include Field Distribution Deliveries,  Drive-Thru Distribution Event Volunteers, and Virtual Volunteers.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minors must have a release form signed by a parent or guardian upon registration on your first shift

  • Parent or guardian must sign a separate one for themselves

  • Minors must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or chaperone during the entire shift

  • The minimum age is 12 years old

  • Register online. No walk-ins allowed

NOTE: We are NOT accepting court-order volunteers at this time.

VOLUNTEER EXPECTATIONS

  • Arrive at least 5 minutes before the start of your first shift.

  • Please do NOT enter or leave our building through the roll-up garage door entrances.

  • Be mindful of weather conditions. The temperature in the warehouse is similar to outside temperatures.

  • Wear jeans/pants, a t-shirt, and closed-toed shoes at all times.

  • Be prepared for occasional loud sounds. Staff operating machinery honk their horns to avoid potential collisions.

  • FARSB is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

  • Mobile devices and headphones are not permitted while volunteering.

  • Eating and drinking must take place outside only (unless it is water).
