Nourish Now - Formerly HERO
With the help of volunteers, FARSB offers free food deliveries of emergency shelf-stable goods to home-bound neighbors whose health and financial limitations prevent them from shopping for food. If you are someone in need of home-bound assistance, please fill out the form below to request a delivery. Disclaimer: Must meet program qualifications in order to receive monthly food boxes. Each household that requests assistance is offered one monthly box of emergency food.
CalFresh Application Assistance
CalFresh, federally known as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), is a nutrition assistance program to assist individuals and families who may be struggling to put food on the table. CalFresh benefits are issued on an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card, similar to an ATM card. EBT cards can be used at most grocery stores and farmer's markets.
