Meet our team.  The heart of our organization.

sandra plascencia

Sandra has been part of the FARSB team for over 5 years.  While her primary responsibilities include payroll and accounts receivable, she's always willing to lend a helping hand or offer some good, sound advice to her fellow team members. Outside of crunching numbers and being the team's "advice guru", Sandra loves to collect anything "Coca-Cola" and loves spending time with family.

veronica galvan

food resource coordinator

Veronica joined the FARSB team 10 years ago.  She is the master of all things logistics and inventory.  In addition, she's also really awesome and our donors love her.  When she's not being awesome at the food bank, you can find her being awesome at home, probably playing a video game, cooking, and spending time with her dogs.  A little birdie also told us that Veronica has been known to play some violin!

Carolyn Solar

Carolyn joins the food bank family with experience running her own food blog, where she tastes, photographs, and reviews food from all over Southern California, which she thinks is a great place to live. As a member of the community, Carolyn loves knowing that her work at the food bank makes a direct impact for a neighbor in need. Carolyn helps fight hunger by helping to raise awareness and funds for FARSB through marketing and public relations projects.

danisha lugo

Logistics Specialist

Danisha plays an integral role in fighting hunger at the food bank.  She may be the first person who greets you at the door or the first voice you hear on the phone, but in addition to that, Danisha is instrumental in scheduling, organizing, and reporting for our programs, all while interacting and keeping our partner charities happy. One of Danisha's favorite things to do is spend time with her girls at the "happiest place on earth"...Disneyland!

Andrea Richards

Andrea joins the food bank family with an eagerness to help her community. With a Masters Degree in Public Administration from CBU, Andrea hopes to one day lead a nonprofit of her own, fighting for those facing homelessness and food-insecurity in her community. In her new role, Andrea is most excited to lead events and community giving projects. In her free time, you can find Andrea hiking, getting creative in the kitchen, and listening to 80's music.
