Can Tree Wonderland 2022 was a huge hit! We finalized our Wrap-Up Party with our sponsors on March 4, 2023, in a Community Garden in Riverside.
Galleria at Tyler helped us make this event possible by being the venue sponsor. Albertsons Companies, Vulcan, UCR (School of Public Policy), IEHP, San Bernardino Elks Lodge #836, and many more businesses and teams decorated their one-of-a-kind Canned Trees. We invited them to conclude this great cause that helped many people in the Inland Empire with a celebration party.
We brought back 16,750 pounds of food from the event, which provided up to 13,958 meals. Thanks to everyone that stopped by and made a donation! We raised over $24,000, which will provide up to 170,415 meals to those in our community. In total, this equals up to 184,373 meals for families within the Inland Empire!
Everyone worked so hard building their trees for the competition. There were so many great trees to choose from, but there could only be one winner in each category. "Best Collect & Build Tree" was Fit4Mom Riverside & Corona. "Best Buy & Build Tree" was UCR-Staff-Santa's Helpers. "Best Sponsored Tree" was Albertsons #2514 Trautwein with their Marvel Tree that grabbed kids' attention as soon as they walked in.
