FARSB Wins $25,000 Donation from Million-Hour Rally Sweepstakes

FARSB is celebrating one of their food bank volunteers winning the Nourishing Neighbors Million-Hour Rally Sweepstakes! The unnamed winner was awarded a prize of free groceries for a year and a $25,000 donation to a local non-profit of their choice, which was presented to FARSB on their behalf.

Nourishing Neighbors and Albertsons’ companies began this rally sweepstakes to boost volunteer hours during the summer months when attendance tends to be lower. Participants entered the sweepstakes by logging their volunteer hours through the given portal for a chance to win. The winner was chosen from the top volunteers with the most hours, winning a free year of groceries.

How the Contest Worked:

Step 1: Volunteer. Find a local nonprofit where you can volunteer for available shifts between March 1, 2025 through May 15, 2025.

Step 2: Log Your Hours. Once you have completed your volunteer hours, make sure you input them in the portal here so they count towards your goal. Make sure you log your hours promptly to stay on top of what hours you have logged already and don't miss any!

Step 3: Win Prizes! Once you have logged your hours, you will be entered to win the Grand Prize of a year's worth of free groceries! Runners-up will win $500 worth of groceries and a match for your local food pantry.
