As Central Community hosts weekly drive-thru food distributions, volunteers do their best to recognize and greet the familiar faces that come through the line. A volunteer noticed a man with a pick-up truck, who regularly lined up hours before the distribution would even begin.
On one morning the volunteer asked the man, "How does the food help throughout the week?" The man earnestly replied, "I couldn't make it without it. Thanks so much". This gave the volunteer a sense of relief and optimism for the families who frequently looked to Central Community for food assistance. FARSB truly appreciates partners like Central Community, who work alongside us to fight hunger and provide hope to Inland Empire families.
