FARSB Welcomes Two New Board of Directors!

FARSB is adding new members to its Board of Directors and celebrating the appointment of Lori Ware and Shannon Richardson. These new members each come with their own impressive backgrounds, bringing new insights and expertise to the food bank board.


We are excited to welcome corporate and community leaders, Lori Ware and Shannon Richardson, to the FARSB Board of Directors,” said Carolyn Fajardo, CEO of FARSB. “Both bring a wealth of professional experience and personal insight that align seamlessly with our vision for a hunger-free future,” said Fajardo.


Meet the Members


With a BS in Accounting, an MBA, and credentials as a CPA and CGMA, Lori Ware brings extensive experience in finance and consulting to the table. Her expertise will play a key role in guiding our strategic growth and ensuring our financial health keeps pace with the evolving needs of the communities we serve.


"I am deeply committed to FARSB's mission of ensuring everyone has access to adequate and nutritious food, and would welcome the chance to strengthen the organization's financial health and support its continued growth," said Lori.


Her insight and leadership will be invaluable as we work to expand our impact and build a hunger-free community.


Shannon Richardson holds a BA in Psychology and an MS in Higher Education Leadership & Student Development, and currently serves as the Strategic Initiatives Director at California University of Science and Medicine (CUSM). Shannon brings a wealth of experience in education, leadership, and organizational development—insight that will greatly enhance our efforts to build stronger, more informed community partnerships.


"With extensive experience leading innovative and resourceful change initiatives, I believe I can significantly contribute to your organization's continued success and positive impact on the community. As a respected thought leader within my organization, I am confident my skills would be well utilized on this board," said Shannon.


Her visionary leadership and passion for equitable access make her a valuable addition as we advance our mission and broaden our community impact.

Our Board of Directors is growing, and we’re excited to welcome our newest members as they step into key leadership roles at FARSB. Serving in a voluntary capacity, the Board plays a critical role in guiding the organization’s financial health, strategic management, and overall performance.


These accomplished individuals bring valuable experience and insight that help ensure FARSB operates effectively and continues to expand its hunger-relief efforts year-round. Their appointment provides staff with additional support, leadership, and expertise to drive our mission forward.
