For over two decades, Sam has been the heart and soul of FARSB, tirelessly working as the Inventory Control Coordinator to combat hunger in the Inland Empire. His unwavering commitment to the food bank has earned him immense admiration from everyone in the warehouse. "Sam is willing to go the extra mile in helping others, taking on special tasks, learning new things, and staying till the work is done. It is a real pleasure working with him." shared John, his manager at FARSB.

Life has thrown its fair share of challenges at Sam, but it eventually led him to FARSB, where he discovered a calling to become a volunteer. "At first, it was challenging to work here, but it got better as the years passed. And now it's wonderful. We are doing many different things, building up, and changing. It's incredible!" said Sam, reflecting on his journey.

Recognizing his potential, two former colleagues took notice and encouraged him to pursue the position of Inventory Control Coordinator when it became available. Initially, He was hesitant, but something inside him urged him to say, "Yes, I would love to work here," Sam recalled.

Sam experienced an unforgettable encounter that revitalized his spirit amid moments of doubt and weariness. A community member visiting the food bank approached him during a tour to express heartfelt gratitude for all the work he does. This individual shared how the food they received from FARSB was vital in keeping them going, motivating him never to give up. The impact of that simple interaction inspired Sam to persevere in his fight against hunger in the region.

Today, we extend our deepest appreciation to Sam for his remarkable contributions to FARSB and the countless lives he has touched. His journey exemplifies the power of compassion and dedication in alleviating hunger and building a stronger community. Thank you, Sam, for all that you do!
