Meet Kiyara, an extraordinary 9-year-old girl with a heart full of compassion and kindness. When her birthday approached, she made a decision that touched the lives of many in her community. Instead of asking for the usual birthday presents, Kiyara requested something unique from her loved ones - their help in collecting food to donate to our organization.
When asked about her thoughtful request, Kiyara explained, "FARSB distributes to people that cannot afford to buy groceries, and now that prices are going up, it's harder, and even when we had COVID, we all had it very hard."
The response to Kiyara's request was incredible - an astounding 170 pounds of food was collected! Her selflessness and awareness of the issue of food insecurity have made a significant impact on the lives of those in need. Kiyara's parents couldn't be prouder of their daughter for showing empathy and concern for others.
