FARSB is proud to announce the receipt of a $75,000 grant to improve essential infrastructure and replace an unreliable vehicle. The grant was received through the Link Logistics' Community Grants Program, which aids nonprofits through infrastructure grants that focus on optimizing and expanding operations and functionality.

“Reliable facilities and vehicles are essential to keeping food moving throughout our community,” said Joanna Solorio, Interim CEO at FARSB. “We are honored to receive such a generous grant, which strengthens our ability to serve families consistently and without interruption,” Solorio continued.
This funding was used to repair and maintain safety in our operations and upgrade the roof and skylights at FARSB’s Hunger Resource Center. A portion was also used to purchase a vehicle to replace an older, unreliable van. The repairs and updates will ensure smooth, day-to-day operations for administrative staff, including site visits, delivering goods, and maintaining all necessary safety measures in accordance with local and state standards.
